Scratch Calculator/Maze/Pac-Man

Scratch Calculator/Maze

One of this week's requirements was the Scratch Calculator. And, it was by far the hardest thing I've had to create using Scratch, thus far. Yes, it may be a neat tool to know how to use, but wow, did that take some time & effort to get it all to work out just perfectly. Had I not had the video tutorials to watch, I never would've been able to figure it out.

The Scratch Maze that I created is one of the most frustrating things I've had to create using Scratch. No matter where I put that darn cat in the maze, he doesn't properly turn the corners. Everything I have done is the exact same as the maze in the videos, but it doesn't work properly. I'm not sure what's causing it to not work out correctly. I even had my roommate compare my coding to the coding on the Scratch Maze video. It's all the same. I loved working with Scratch before this maze project, but now I'm just frustrated. :(

The Scratch Pac-Man that I created was fun & informative, and possibly gave me the basis for what I'll be doing my final Scratch project on. I learned a lot from this, but will have to refer back to the Scratch I created, or the Pac-Man videos to complete my final project, if this is the route I decide to pursue. I also did not include a "hunter" in my Pac-Man, like it is shown in the videos, and did not have my Pac-Man go back to start when he touched something other than the "maze." I didn't do this simply because I found it took me forever to get around the maze, because I was constantly going back to start for touching the "water" of my Pac-Man game.
